Our Full and Upgrade Kits were long-term development projects that were initiated by demand after the sucess of our Mark II A/C Kit. We wanted to retain the look of a S2 Original Equipment unit, but made it 2-3 times more efficient (colder). The original Evaporator (inside the car) case had undersized Vents and a totally inefficient core, so we fixed all that. We designed ours to accept a super-efficient core, updated the Vent Louvers, and ended up with a unit that has almost the same dimensions. The front face is the only change and is marginally taller than the original.
We now offer the only viable alternative to homely "Hang Down" systems or some other inefficient unit unable to cool properly. As in our Mark II Kit, we use only the best custom-made and most efficient parts available. Call for our Contents list.

Upgrade Kit Contents The Upgrade Kit Contains All The Parts of The Full Kit, Minus The Evaporator Case, But does Include The Hi-Tech Serpentine Evaporator Core and an Up-rated Permanent Magnet Blower Motor. Since the Original Case is Very Fragile, It must be in Excellent Shape! Most Original Parts are No Longer Available.
S-1, 3.8- Need opening in sub-dash (unseen by occupants)- See picture below. Change "Duplex" Pulleys to standard "V" (New or Used Pulleys are Extra). Fit smaller Radio and modify or fabricate Radio console. Create Hose openings in Firewall.
S-1, 4.2- Same as Above.
S-2, 4.2 (No A/C)-Create Hose openings in Firewall. Modify size of Original radio console or, obtain an A/C console (below)which will still require some modification.
S-2, 4.2 (With A/C) Basically Bolt On With Some Modifications to Radio Console!

XKE, S-2 With A/C- Radio Console
This all metal reproduction console will fit A/C S-2 cars only and was supplied with Dealer or Factory installed Air Conditioning. Some trimming will be needed in order to work with the RetroAir Air Conditioning Kit. Add your own paint/upholstery and speakers/grilles
